With the rise of social media and influencer culture we have developed a generation of people that are very focused on their brand. I have recently had a model cull a bunch of photos from a download (yet to be released) because they didn't align with his brand.
Now, if he'd said they just showed a little more than he was comfortable with or he didn't like his facial expression in them then I would have understood but to throw in "my brand" when he has less than 10K followers on Instagram feels a little bit over the top to me. Obviously I accommodated his requests because he is a nice guy and he was really nice about it.
To an extent I understand what he is saying. He works in an industry where his image is his business card to an extent and we all know that perception is key when selling a product. Was it frustrating? Yes. I'm trying to just roll with the punches on stuff like this. There are a bunch of downloads that have been removed from my website and this site too because of models change in circumstance even though I would much rather they stayed available.
