Just a thought.

There is absolutely no doubt that digital photography and video is my place. I don't have the patience, nor the skill probably, for painting or drawing. You can get a lot of images with digital photography in the same timeframe and much less cost than other mediums.

There is a fascination with polaroids though. There will never be a duplicate and they have a nostalgia that can be likened to vinyl records. I have been considering getting a polaroid camera and taking one, just one photo of the model(s) on each shoot. Would I then sell them? I don't know. No one seems to buy the limited edition prints from my exhibitions and that's likely because of the cost.

Would people buy a polaroid? Again, who knows? But the idea is there so let me know.

Just a thought. Just a thought.

as long as you provide a digital scan of the Polaroid to the buyer as well. Polaroids fade badly with time.

You can't edit a Polaroid and the finality and immediacy make them very sexy. Just look at the Polaroids of Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe and Wolfgang Tillmans took. There also sentimental My family had a Land Camera, I remember having to put the Polaroid in a little metal hinged folder and putting it under my arm for it to develop. Yes I would buy Polaroids.
