Mate they are talking about the dark ages… which unfortunately was not that long ago.

Don't be triggered by an image... Also look back into the dark ages when people were actually executed by executioners with hoods and axes.... I really wish the world and people in it would grow the F up.

I think the other thing to potentially bear in mind is that medieval executioners were wearing that garb long before the people you are associating it with. Furthermore, European history was rife with people being executed for "religious" reasons - thus, the cross. I get what ya'll are pointing out, but as the others have said - it really depends on the cultural context you view it from. Personally, even being American, I see this more in the ancient historical context I believe it was meant to reflect.

Yeah, the cross thing along with the nooses and the hood....reminds me of something.

I have to say, being raised in the deep south, in the 50's and 60's, this does not look like an 'Executioner', and may not be a good cross-promo with recent events...
