Development Update for first third of February
Added 2020-02-11 00:54:49 +0000 UTCIt's a short month this month, though we do have an extra day to get us closer to a round 30 days. Even so, we have our update of our first third of the month to share with you.
- gunzil: Make sure the correct music plays for every option in the scene select
- gunzil: Clean up a bunch of old resolved "Todo" comments, delete an old unused scene
- Zoesfigueroa: Fix typo in Sylvia Day 2
- gunzil: Expression/animation edits from the beginning up to the first Tea Friends visit
- oesfigueroa: Removed Felix's post TG scene to make room for rewrite
- Zoe SF: Start new post TG scene
- gunzil: More day 1 expression edits, up to end of finding the floor tea at tea friends
- gunzil: Adjust a couple sylvia mouths slightly
- gunzil: Play with an alternate changing room layout that isn't huge and has a working mirror
- oesfigueroa: Most Felicia Day-2 post TG up though some of cafe scene
- Zoe SF: Post TG cafe scene up to end
- gunzil: More post-tg rewrite expressions, rough out an alt changing room exterior
- oesfigueroa: Felicia Day 2 post cafe scene
- Zoe SF: Finish up post TG sequence witih the shopping scene
- gunzil: Pre-tg animation edits, adjust zoom level for changing room
- gunzil: Update other changing room scenes to use the more-zoomed-in version
- gunzil: Little bit more post-tg expressions
- gunzil: Add finished Felicia blouse outfit
- gunzil: Give Sylvia more range, update some eye/mouth sprites
- gunzil: Make the naming scheme on Sylvia outfits/mouths match the scheme KD is exporting out to, delete some extra unused files
- gunzil: Adjust a couple Gavin poses
- Zoesfigueroa: Edit pass on new post-TG scene
- gunzil: Rough out layouts new post-TG scenes
- Zoesfigueroa: Day 2 Felicia Path Post-shopping expression edits
As you can see a lot of what we've been doing is improving content: rewriting scenes, adding more expressions for characters, and improving the "acting" in scenes by fine-tuning expressions. In a few days we'll be sharing some of the expression changes we've done to improve the type of acting we can have our characters do.
