Hello to all our patrons!

At the beginning of the month, we shared with you our goal of producing a version of the game that we'd be confident in selling outside the Patreon. Unfortunately, we did not reach our goal. The main reason was that we received our copy edits back from our copy editor and they were so extensive that we're still implementing them. We want our writing to be as polished as possible before we start selling the game, so it will be another month or two before we think we'll be comfortable with releasing it.

In the meantime, we've got a new update for you that includes the elimination of one of the biggest sources of placeholder art in the entire game! Let's take a look

New Character Sprites - No More Silhouettes! 

For some time now we've populated the game with silhouettes as stand-ins for the various NPC characters that pop up in the story. However, The Transformistress knuckled down and sketched every one of the remaining NPC sprites! Hopefully this will be a much less jarring experience than having the entire game populated by a race of Shadow Gavins instead of actual characters.

Most of these NPCs are also cameo characters who are the OCs or sonas of patrons who have contributed to the game's development. We imagine they're very excited about being seen in the game for the first time, and hope you have fun seeing how they're all used in the narrative.


New CG - Ayala Short End

Another longstanding piece of placeholder art has been replaced with the addition of Ayala's CGs to the game. This short end that branches off from the beginning of the Julie route is a whole different kind of transformation, one that's produced by means much more available to us here in the real world. It's a very cute and very steamy scene drawn by our own KDhynamo, and we hope you enjoy it.

This brings us to another fun milestone in development: There is no longer any sketched art in the demo! We're not quite at 100% art completion; there are still a number of CGs that will be shaded and tweaked (and even new CGs that will be added) but right now there isn't any art in the demo that's only a sketch! We hope this will be a much more seamless experience for both old and new players to enjoy. 


Sound Effects - Felicia Route completed!

It's a long and tedious process, but Gunzil has been steadily making their way through the game and has fully follied Felicia's feline fictional feats! It's a subtle addition to the game's features, but one that adds a lot of nice texture to the game. We're looking forward to even more of the game's sound design being completed.

Writing Improvements - Fully Edited Demo

As we mentioned at the top of this post, we're still in the process of incorporating proofreading and copy editing suggestions into the game, but our first priority was improving the writing in the game's demo. We've fully integrated those edits into those days of the story and will be working towards finishing the whole process next month. In the meantime, there's never been a better time to introduce your friends to the game via the best version of the demo to date!
