Hello, man I haven't been snowmobiling in ages. Ice hasn't been good enough to cross lately. Still reeling from last night's game honestly, the closest the Lions have come to a Superbowl (both in my lifetime and ever)

Or in the winter, you can always take the ice bridge. Ive got some family up north we visit frequently too. Also, hello fellow mitten state resident!

Lol, perhaps they had a reason to drive entirely around lake Michigan (like an extra 8-10 hrs), the other great lakes states are nice too so it would certainly qualify as the scenic route. Can't be too careful around Wisconsin though, it's where the cheese heads dwell after all.

See, this is what I've been saying as the lone college football fan dev team member. So the current situation is that the story actually does not take place at the University of Michigan. Instead, it takes place at a fictional Michigan state university in Ann Arbor. Does U of M also exist in this fictional setting? Who knows! In truth, there's some details that are currently fillers that might be changed as development continues. The city the VN takes place in is likely one of those, along with details like what video games characters are playing. Those might get swapped out with non-copyrighted equivalents at some point. Also one of the (several) Michiganders on the said they only ever went through Wisconsin to get to the UP, so maybe they've been faking being from the Great Lakes State this whole time.

Hey, a couple of nitpicks from a Michigan native. The college in Ann Arbor, U of M is one of the best 4 football (American) programs in the country, with many recruits going there with the intention of going pro. If you intend for his friend to not be a national prospect or not starting, then perhaps neighboring Ypsilanti which houses Eastern MI University would better fit. Also no Michigan Native has ever gone to the UP through Wisconsin, there is a large Bridge (the Mackinac Bridge) connecting the two peninsulas. Most Michiganders refer to vacationing within the state as 'going up north', regardless of how far north they actually travel.
