Welcome to another early access update for Coffee Buns!

This update is all about filling in unfinished and missing elements from story to art. Some of it you might have seen in an unfinished state and some of it you might not have expected at all. Because the structure of the narrative and game variables have been changed so much

**ALL PREVIOUS SAVES WILL BE DELETED WHEN UPDATING TO THIS NEW VERSION**

If you are in the middle of a readthrough you may want to finish before updating. Or you can reproduce your current story state using our chapter select using our choice option toggles.

In any case, let's see how much has been changed to warrant such a rework!

New Story - New Choice to Choose Confidant, New Boss Scenes, and Naomi Intimate Scene

Up until now, the first choice readers made was in Day 4. That was a lot of story before being able to influence the narrative and we realized there was a prime opportunity to add a choice on Day 3. Now, instead of Leo automatically telling Ash about his new breasts, you have the choice to enlist the help of Boss or Naomi. This also influences the nature of choices later on in the story. Another new choice on Day 3 is the option to no longer regrow Leo's breasts that evening.

An even bigger change is a number of new scenes featuring Boss. Now if you choose to go shopping with her on Day 4, she will appear at the beach on Day 5 instead of Ash. That means a new swimsuit for Leo and a new assumed name for his female alter ego. That also means new scenes at Boss's home straddling the evenings of Day 5 and Day 6. If any of you Boss fans have felt neglected, this is the update you've been waiting for!

Finally, we left off last update right before an intimate scene featuring both Naomi and Leo, but we now have the scene written in full!

New Art from KDhynamo - Four New Sprites, an Insert, and a New Logo!

The first new piece of art by KD will greet you on the title screen with a refinement of the placeholder logo we've had for a few months now. We're not committing to it as the final logo, but we think it's a great improvement.

In addition to the new beach sprites for Boss and Leo you saw above, there are also new outfits for both Naomi and Roman as well. We've also shuffled where certain outfits appear in the story so some scenes might have a slightly different look.

Finally, early on in Day 7, if Leo has talked to Debbie already, you'll see a new interaction between Ash and Leo that we think's worth seeking out.

New UltraBondageFairy Art - Naomi and Leo CG

Last update ended with a joke depiction of an intimate scene feuturing both Naomi and Leo, but in addition to having written the scene, we now have new art from UBF to accompany it! It's not quite finished and does not include alts at the moment, but it's far more than a sketch and really adds to the intimacy. It's the first time UBF has gotten to draw a non-solo sex scene for the VN and we hope you think it's worth the wait!

New HeartGear Art - Naomi Apartment Background

Heartgear continues to provide us with great background art with the addition of a final version of Naomi's apartment. It's a very cozy setting for our resident cottagecore doe, and for the time being is pulling double duty as Boss's home until we complete that as well

New Transformistress Art - New Boss Alts for Beach CGs and a TG Insert

Mira will be taking the next month off and so has been banking some art for future updates of both Coffee Buns and Crossed Signals, but that doesn't mean you'll go without new art from her. The new beach scenes require new alternate versions featuring Boss, and she also completed the insert panel of Naomi witnessing Leo's TG.

New Music - Bonnie Theme and Low-Key versions of Leo's and Naomi's Theme

Will provided us with three whole tracks for this update, including one for Bonnie aka Leo in his femme form. There's also tracks for low-key scenes that call for Leo's and Naomi's theme, meaning that outside the title screen, there is no more placeholder music within the VN. This will be the last track for a while from Will who is completing work on his other project, Chrono Gear. Go and wishlist it if you'd like to support Cinnamon Switch Devs!

Phew, we said it would be a lot, didn't we! We know that the save file reset is an inconvenience, but we hope all the new story, art, and choices makes it understandable. We'll see you next month with a new update for Crossed Signals and more Coffee Buns after that!
