Hajime no Ippo is the goat sports anime.

Samurai Champloo is in my personal top 3, no lie. Also, I’m glad to hear someone bring up Afro Samurai. It’s so sad how few people know about it. It’s so good. And it’s only 5 episodes, it’s an effortless watch.

I hope you add Samurai Champloo to the list and watch it one day and also Cowboy Beebop, both are only 24 episodes long and very solid classics I think youll enjoy, with NEXT level music soundtracks. Also I think youd like Afro Samurai with is an america samurai animated series with Samuel L Jackson and Ron Perlman (Ron Perlmans best role ever too imo)

Omar, as much as I love to see JJK's reactions, after so many SHONEN I think it would be refreshing to switch to a different genre for you. There is so much more in the ANIME world and every genre has its gems. My recommendation is that you watch some sports. The best for me for all that it involves, the humor and besides being a classic, would be Hajime no ippo. It could be Slam Dunk too, to respect the classics.

I like jjk overall, but it’s pretty inconsistent to me for it to only be two seasons in. Season 1 was decent but pretty uninteresting at times. Season 2 is a lot better and pretty good but it still has some mid episodes here and there

Also I was thinking since you like Vinland Saga, you should react to the Berserk films. Not the show because it sucks but the Berserk: Golden Arc film trilogy is peak anime. They also have a memorial edition on Crunchyroll that keeps all the original movie scenes and turns the trilogy into a season format so you can watch it like a series. Berserk is my personal favorite manga of all time (I even have a tattoo off it), and it’s right up your alley. Warning, it’s absolutely NOT for kids lol. It would be the most adult anime you’ve seen, even over vinland
