Patch Notes (why did we skip 1.05 hmm)
Italics are not save-game compatible and require a new save, but the patch can be updated to 1.06 appropriately. Bugfixes are bolded and are usually save-game compatible but italicized if not save-game compatible.
Campaign Changes
- Updated the localization files.
- Hegemony and Iron Shell start in a Greater Hegemony alliance. This can be disabled beforehand in data/config/setting.json with GreaterHegemony being set to false.
- Fixed Operation World Above not granting the appropriate quest rewards (intel expired faster than could be returned). Now only checks if the ownership of said Udana Station or Killa belongs to Iron Shell.
- Chitagupta's Nascent Gravity Well fixed(?)
- Chitagupta no longer has defecting Quy's and Hartley's fleets when Chitagupta is owned by another faction.
- Fixed some issues concerning dialog interaction.
- Fixed Taxes
- Iron Shell now bans Red Water accordingly and drug-equivalent from other mods if Hegemony has the commodity banned as well.
- Iron Shell NPCs should not create any vanilla contacts mission for the time being (being worked on a bit hopefully).
- Charlotte should no longer hand out underworld contacts (Iron Shell underworld contacts will be given different types in the near future).
- When SWP, Torchships and Deadly Armaments, or Tahlan Ship Works is enabled, some Iron Shell variants will update appropriately.
- Vengeance will spawn more often in Iron Shell fleets and markets.
- Celeste can accept Sigma Matter.
Hullmod Changes
- Avaritia's S-Mod Bonus buffed: Damage bonus after venting increased to +50%.
- Avaritia can no longer be obtained when salvaging.
Ship Changes
- Updated Audacious, Endeavor, and Tyrant's sprites.
- When piloting the Audacious, an indicator will be displayed when a friendly Vengeance is deployed in the field.
- Audacious (XIV) will properly synchronize with its Vengeance-parent now.
- Indomitable (XIV): Shield Efficiency increased from 1.0 to 1.1, Shield Upkeep: 0.5 increased to 0.55 (225 -> 250 flux/second).
- Tyrant (XIV): Flux Dissipation increased from 700 to 750.
- Fixed Valorous's RoF Rate when buffed (2.25x -> 2.0x)
- Fixed Valorous's "Hidden" Bonus/Buffed Ammo Regeneration (2.25x/3.0x -> 1.5x/2.0x)
Ship System Changes
- Annihilator Protocol's Charge reduced from 2 to 1.
- Jump Thruster's distance jump reduced slightly (scales less off speed changes but no change if the ship wasn't benefiting off speed changes).
- Rampage Drive AI no longer active when the ship is retreating.
- Rampage Drive's damage nerfed and tweaked a bit. No longer causes a big amount of kinetic damage (and also no longer pushes enemy ships AS MUCH to the edge of the map as a Flagellator or an enemy Paragon as an Indomitable). Rampage Drive on-impact will deliver 2.5 Hammer worth of HE damage instead and whatever is its own ship's mass. Because of this nerf, friendly drives no longer deal a lot of damage!
- Revengeance and Zandatsu AI tweaked a bit to consider missile amount.
- Zandatsu no longer benefits from system recharge buffs/nerfs.
- Zandatsu grants +50% Maneuverability for 1 second after being used.
- Zandatsu's base jump distance increased, nerfed speed scaling of jump (base hull will still feel the same otherwise may feel even better to pilot)
Weapon Changes
- Celestial's Aster: Turn Rate reduced from 20 to 7.
- Celestial's Blossom: Turn Rate reduced from 15 to 7.
- AI for Celestial's Aster and Celestial's Blossom taught a bit. Will tend to use more in sync now.
- Superheavy Needler now ammo-based (same DPS, same everything only less punishing for AI to use)
Wing Changes
- Gladius (XIV): OP Cost increased from 6 to 7.
- Mining Drone (H): Top speed decreased from 115 to 110. Armor decreased from 200 to 175. Hull integrity decreased from 700 to 650.
- Khopesh (XIV): Support range reduced from 1000 to 0. Reload timer increased from 9 seconds to 11 seconds.
- Warthog (XIV): Support range reduced from 1000 to 0. Damage decreased from 100 to 95.
- Peacekeeper (XIV): Gets a mini-indicator (visual damper) their ship system is used.
