Something a bit different for you this week. Rather than a regular political video we've got a small update message just for you saying why we're still silent on the public front. It's just a quick message from Jordan so we've also answered a handful of your questions from the Q&A a few days ago and included a new comedy video as well: The Worst Airports in Australia (Sydney vs Melbourne).
As Jordan says in the video, we want to get back to posting as normally ASAP but for a number of reasons we can't get into right now, staying silent is the best course of action. We're hoping we can give you further updates soon but for now thank you all so much. You patrons are keeping the channel afloat right now,

On the street (ghettos), I began to hear many years ago people saying that so-and-so was their cousin, uncle or brother. Being me, I’d press the issue saying but how are you related?! And a few began to tell me: OK it’s my street brother… My street uncle …my street cousin but it’s my street fam. Oh! Ok OK… so when I heard BRUZ for brother/cousin (for utter legends) that is so much better & so much more of an intelligent way to put together that same sentiment. I have to tread lightly…(well truth): you only hear it in African-American neighborhoods. Had I not begun watching your videos I would’ve had no idea the immigration problems that you have plus they seem so odd and foreign because they’re not what I’m used to (ie Lebanese & Turkish… & Italian…& aboriginal. I don’t think we’re known for the greatest public education system & I know we’re not known for our geography as it seems most of us missed that if it was over offered at all… But those are countries with which I am not familiar. I suppose it makes sense bc y’all are 1/2way around the world but overall I don’t think we’re taught much about Australia. Like the mix of races there has created such a different yet varied landscape which seems quite diverse. I’m in Texas where the governor acts like there are immigrants storming Texas cities which is just complete & utter bullshit! Yes we have a continuous influx of Hispanics, Central & South Americans that are slowly saturating US society (also now a foreign speaking race of very dark blacks that the Hispanics don’t understand their language…they carry big baskets on their heads but I digress. The influx has been occurring for many decades. It’s been a problem across the entire US already so GregAbbott, sending buses & planes of migrants to these safe harbor cities? What a dick! What an asshole. He says THIS is what it’s like here for us in TX. No, no, No, it’s not. It’s not that way at all. Just so you know. Cities like Houston where I mostly grew up were somehow supposed to be the American Dream, upward mobility personified in these diverse cultural melting pots. While there was the corner liquor store run by a singular Vietnamese man that worked every hour possible per wk. In that way, I suppose the American dream was possible although I talked to some of these store owners who explained that they never had a moment of rest or time off as there was no one else to cover. Plus immigrants send all their earnings home (generalization, I’m sure). But what happened & I don’t know how it happened, it was a big saying that Houston was going to be a vast, cultural melting pot. By the time I was in high school, Chinese, Vietnamese, Hispanics, Nigerians… You name it but instead of melding into this immigrant family melting pot, they moved into little cities where one didn’t feel safe crossing the borders of those areas if you were of a different ethnicity. You had little Chinatown, Mexico, India. Also, my high school had 6000 students with a north & south campus so it was truly being lost in a sea of faces. We moved a whole lot so I returned to the high school of 6000 students as a senior to find armed policemen on campus & every day they would be sounding an alarm saying that one of the gangs had a handgun, to shelter in place and so on. I just find it interesting that when I was a kid there was this Martin Luther King-esque dream that 🎶this land is your land🎶and 🎵free to be you and me🎵has morphed into an endless nightmare where it remains. I know it’s a gift, the Statue of Liberty that was given to us by France yet the original idyllic dream is inscribed on it. It says bring me your tired, your hungry and your poor plus so much other beautiful things in the form of a poem that’s worth investigating if you’ve never read it. However, I’ve since heard that it wasn’t even sincere back then. If you had money, you were never turned away, which I didn’t even know people were turned away & put back on ships. If you were poor & didn’t get turned away, that’s the “freedom” image of Ellis Island. However, I more recently heard that the elite (there’s that word) bypassed Ellis Island, had private entry where they paid to freely enter. So the whole thing is built on a sham! Thx 4 letting me share. 🫤😂

2024-05-09 09:46:46 +0000 UTCWhat happened here in the states or at least in Texas we had these Blue Light Laws which said when liquor can be sold & or so we all thought, when stores could be open. Apparently they didn’t even apply to anything but liquor. Yet Walmart was open 24/7 b4 lockdown & everywhere was open hours later. After lockdown they didn’t revert… Walmart closes at 11pm now. Tidbit. 😊

I’m facing the carnival that is Trump in November. I had never voted for that same old lame excuse that you addressed - until the 2020 election. Well truly I’d cut off my own nose to spite my face or drank poison to hurt you bc as I watched the evening news in the late 90’s on a work night right before bed like I’d always done - this new affiliate I’d previously thought was fresh & new, broke my fng heart. Fox News LIED to me! So, I cut off my cable TV!! Boy I showed you all, didn’t I? When I decided to rejoin society/media a few years before Covid I was like WTF DID YOU GUYS DO?? Nothing!! Now media bias was the norm! Now I’m literally ashamed that I washed my hands of it bc my feelings were hurt. Smmfh. And it was my burden alone to bear! I was PROUD in 2020 to have had the PRIVILEGE of voting. And yeah, what system anywhere is not broken? I love it. Just do it anyway.

2024-02-25 06:15:34 +0000 UTCThe Sydney Airport curfew reminds me of the days when shops closed at lunchtime on Saturday and didn't re-open until Monday. So quaint. Even during the longest and harshest lockdowns in Melbourne, our mediocre airport didn't have a curfew.
