when you say "i think he passed away a couple years ago" i think you may be thinking about the OG creator of the show, Stephen Hillenberg. He died in 2018. But no, Tom Kenny, the voice actor for SB, has been going strong ever since s1. Hes been the VA for every episode, every movie, and even all the spinoffs like the patrick show and camp coral.

All I know is that there are a few that are going to annoy me, and at least one that I'm crazy excited for. These four were a pretty good start, though. Looking forward to hearing you guys' opinions! And yeah, Rolling Thunder beat me to the punch, but Tom Kenny has been going strong as SpongeBob's VA for 25 years now. Dude has mad talent.
