I get that Missy is going through hell at an already difficult age... but I wish she had just been baptized. Meemaw was crying begging them to, because she was watching her own daughter fall to pieces, and just because Pastor Jeff said something (trying to be comforting) she just runs off? You have one parent left and she's really struggling. Even Sheldon is doing it, and it goes against everything he holds sacred. I lost my mother and I couldn't imagine ever behaving like that. My heart breaks for her, but that really did not sit well with me.

2024-06-01 02:39:53 +0000 UTCThat ending was well done, a nod to everyone who’d showed and we got a little hint as to what older Georgie had mentioned of how he was looking out for his mom. The first episode man i was balling my eyes. It ranked up in the emotional episodes Ive watched with the Jon Ritter on 8 Simple Rules and Glee’s quarterback episodes. It isnt the character being dead that gets me its how everyone else reacts. Like Wayne makes me wonder if he was right by George when he was having the heart attack or Missy remembering Red Lobster. I love love learning about Sheldon and Amy’s son and daughter. Just the little bits are so good.
