This movie is just as emotional as I remember it, and I highly recommend Bambi 2.

However for the time period for a boy to not mind being called Flower is pretty impressive and also he comes off as a sweetheart. The sequel goes into more depth between Bambi and his father and it is a beautifully done film. It is similar to Tarzan 2 where its shows the inbetween childhood and adult, though in Tarzan 2 you can see where Tarzan develops his skills that you see in the song Son of Man.

As far as I know, this is actually the fifth movie, that was made by Walt Disney. Also you should really check out the second one as well. It is a very good movie too.

This was the last Disney animated feature they were able to complete before WW2 forced them to start making materials for the war effort. After the war it was illegal to export money out of Europe and Disney had a lot of money in England, so they focused on making live action British films and released short film compilation movies in the US to get some operating cash to make Cinderella which came out 8 years after Bambi.

2024-07-12 23:58:21 +0000 UTCTo me, this is one of Disney's greatest works because of the amount of attention that was put into the background and the way the animals moved. If I remember correctly, the people who voiced Bambi, thumper and flower as children are still alive.
