So it's an episode based on a song from the movie. Apparently this episode was really hyped up by the marketing. Lots of promotions and ads on TV. THIS is where Patchy was this season - in the marketing for Best Day Ever. And then Nickelodeon did a big marathon of the best episodes, in build up to this one. So everybody expected a 22-minute episode, or maybe even a 44-minute episode. But it was just a simple 11-minute episodes, and it was underwhelming for how it was marketed. But hey, without that hype build up, cool to see you guys enjoyed it.

Before this episode premiered on November 10, 2006, Patchy the Pirate hosted a 24hr marathon of the top 100 episodes of SpongeBob, #1 was Karate Island, I think. While this marathon happened, Patchy traveled to NYC to celebrate with SpongeBob fans on the premiere of the Best Day Ever episode. The same night after this episode premiered was also the network premiere of the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie..
