2024-08-06 22:43:08 +0000 UTCWell, these episodes, while lower in quality than seasons 1-4, were honestly much better than I remembered them being. Especially the Boast Smarts episode - I remembered the "Squidward Torture" being really painful, and much more graphic than it's shown here. But it was still kind of cartoony, Loony Tunes-esque torture. So as much as I hate the "squidward torture porn", it's still not as bad yet. There was actually a 3-segment episode way back in season 1. The pilot episode, remember? That was Help Wanted, then a tiny Reef Blower short, and then Tea at the Treedome. Anyway, keep in mind that this season will also have the first instance of a TV Movie - a 44 minute episode. For the episode "Atlantis Squarepantis", you should probably dedicate a part all on its own, without other episodes.
