2024-09-30 13:39:11 +0000 UTCThis is such a great movie, and it’s got so many little details that you can pick up on in a rewatch if you missed it the first time. Like how they mention that Christof, the creator, is very secretive and protective of his personal life, all while putting Truman’s entire existence on air for millions of people to watch. My favourite detail though is in the names. Like Truman (a true man) Burbank (like the city in California that is known as the media capital of the world). Or the names Cristof gives the people in his life. His best friend Marlon (as in Brando), his wife Meryl (as in Streep), his new love interest to be Vivien (as in Leigh)…

As you edit this reaction youll spot the moments when Truman is digging the hole, the little snippets on the newspaper or how the extras act. This film was brilliantly done.
