I agree. I liked the plot, it was interesting and expanded on her story in a cool way, but for the first time ever I left a Disney movie with absolutely no desire to listen to the songs again or even memories of a certain songโs lyrics playing in my mind. Itโs also really odd that they make this big deal out of the villain and how he hates humans, but we donโt ever see him until the end credit scene. It almost felt like they were fighting a hurricane, not a villainous godโฆ

2025-02-02 03:14:48 +0000 UTCtotally agree with you on this one. loved moana 1, easy 9 out of 10 for me. but moana 2 was lacking like you said. songs werent really good. here you really can tell that this was supposed to be a show, because these were typical generic songs disney usually does for their shows. And i think youre being generous rating this 6 or 7. for me this, sadly, is just a 5. almost fell asleep a couple of times watching this at the movies
