New Horizon- Miles & Anne Style Revision

no comic update just yet, unfortunately. i'm a bit behind due to various things interfering with my typical work time, but it shouldn't be too long- it'll be done by wednesday at the latest.

in the meantime, here's a thing. this past saturday i attended SVA's accepted students day in new york, so the various things i saw there got some gears going again. some of the most evident things in the changes are proportions are a bit more "realistic", the eyes are different, and miles actually has a nose. there's a few other key things but i'll leave things as they are for now.

things like osomatsu got me to try to work in a nose while still looking unintrusive and natural- and i feel like i've achieved that. the eyes being the way they are makes a few eye gestures easier to read, plus i've been trying to work in eyes like these behind the scenes for a while. as for the other changes like miles' shirt, i guess that came from jojo's part 4 opening. it's really fun to watch and listen to and seeing all the characters having fun doing what they do makes me happy. i tried to slip something like that in, having a more "lighthearted" appearance while still having the capacity to be tense or cool.

obviously these wouldn't hit the comic immediately- that'd be too much of a change in too little time. they might hit after the initial comic is over, and after i work out a backlog of strips. that way it's there while still not seeming like too much of a stark change.
