Weekly Friday Update (5/27/16) - The Actual End of the Promo Comic

this friday marks the official and actual end of the promo comic. honestly, i'm already unhappy with it, believe it or not. besides the fact that it was rushed, it started right when i did that last big revision, and near the end was the latest one which is leaps and bounds better. i also started figuring out what i like stylistically in terms of brushes and i couldn't really get that into the end of the comic without scrapping everything, which, would be impossible at that point.
that being said, to reiterate, from here on out the comic will be in weekly (likely black and white) strips so as to cut down the workload so i can keep up with everything else. i'm honestly still recovering from such a different work schedule, and rewiring my brain to actually do work on an actual consistent schedule is fairly difficult.
at any rate, here's anne's set of outfits. same kind of "layout" as miles', not quite a ton to really say. maybe i could elaborate more on her personality?
anne, to me, is, ironically, the self insert. it's ironic because miles is the self-insert by design, but anne is the self insert by personality. in a way, with them as the two leads, they create one large self-insert lead. she's fairly timid and somewhat clumsy, but not unintelligent. her nickname, grace, stems from having taken fencing lessons at a young age, and she generally uses rapiers in combat. as another hobby, she tends to doodle and draw, which also has its uses. she and miles share a reasonable parallel to that of luigi and mario respectively, and this was fairly intentional.
