Weekly Friday Update (1/6/17) - Thumbnail Day

on a vaguely unrelated note, i've thought about closing my patreon for now and waiting a little while to put it back up. it's been on a bit of a decline and i figure i should share more things publicly to build up some attention. we'll see in the coming weeks what i decide to do.
