Sketch- Super Mario Bros. Comic Doodle
Added 2017-09-19 01:00:31 +0000 UTCSomething from... give or take last year, it's some doodles I did of a potential Super Mario Bros. comic. It would mix the American canon of the brothers living in Brooklyn (or at least, the Mushroom World equivalent) with the Japanese canon of... I guess just them still looking like how they are afterwards? Personality-wise I intended to take notes from the movie as well, with Mario being a pessimist and Luigi being a younger optimist type.
The TV show Mario's watching is a less-than-subtle gag revolving around another popular Nintendo IP. References like this would show up from time to time to give the world some life.
