Phil is cooking the tomatoes from the garden into sauce. It smells incredible and I want to find the time to make a lasagne. I think I'll have to make a lot of lasagne. There are a lot of tomatoes.
I ran out of Cadfael and now it's Black Adder. It's like I'm back in High school.

I've been using my break time to figure out how to make a SquareSpace site to sell original art, one-of-a-kind stuff, and small curiosities. All the things we aren't able to sell through TopatoCo that have been cluttering up the place for ages. It's an ongoing project. I'm of course stuck on the part where I have to set up shipping. Of course. It's always the shipping that gets me.
I can't have anything too riveting on while I pack Kickstarter stuff, because I make enough mistakes as it is. I'm not terrible, but even one mistake isn't great. So I've just been running Cadfael, which I don't have to look at. I finally figured out that what I like about it, aside from Derek Jacobi, is the sound of the thing. Especially the music, since I'm very fond of mediaeval music both sacred and secular. I don't use Spotify, but maybe I should. I just need to find an endless loop of ren faire music I suppose.
Anyway, here's the page, and the cats! I'll be back later with the colors as usual. Thanks again, everyone!

Aha. And yet, as always, there's no option for "you changed a thing that was perfectly fine and now it's worse"...funny how often that scenario crops up. Thanks! At least the option exists.

2023-09-18 23:25:54 +0000 UTCBefore her second breakthrough, Monahan's signature accessory (other than the rats) was her odd helmet, which I'm assuming she tricked out with all kinds of sensors and detectors, in addition to being protection against getting wasped by Lucrezia. Maybe she's giving Agatha something similar, but because of her queen ability perhaps has the ability to make it a bit less, um, cumbersome.

2023-09-18 18:17:01 +0000 UTCJust out here guessing but after an evening to think on it, I kind of wonder if there's some symmetry with the Lady Heterodyne's Star. Like Monahan is going to give her some piece of scientific equipment that becomes one of her signature tools. Like if this were a video RPG this would be the point before the big final run in when you get a chance to upgrade your gear to the elite level.
