News Update: Way of The Dragon Update
Added 2021-08-03 22:02:25 +0000 UTCAugust is here and we're gonna talk about the next update coming at the end of the month. We've also had a few real life events happening (all good I assure you) and we're very excited to work on this coming update. In terms of the story we've already concepted and figured out the sequence of events, so now we're onto the visual concepting/character designing for the update. Our artist Pluzer has been doing an incredible job, and we also have a new song in the works!
In terms of what we're aiming for with this update is a foundation for future content, and also to introduce brand new characters. Since we want to develop everything more we'll most likely have an in between update that'll bring in more content for each of the planets, currently Cyberia is a bit lacking and we want to make sure Elsie is getting the love and care she deserves in a future update.
This update will also feature a new concept we're excited to try of an overworld map for a planet. Tho this doesn't seem like a groundbreaking feature, we wanted to try this out and see how well it works within the world for Cyber Rift. We're aiming to expand each future location like this, and we'll be happy to accept feedback for it as we continue to develop the game. Content wise we're looking at 2 H-scenes, they will be still image ones rather than animations as the amount of time it currently takes to develop an animation is significantly longer and can take away from other areas. We will be doing more animations in the future, but right now we're just focusing on adding the new characters but def not slacking on the NSFW aspect!
This month's art update will be focusing on how we develop the pinups, and what goes into the decision for characters. We'll also be showing off the concept sketches for most of them, so you guys have a good amount to look forward to!
