Supporter Newsletter - April

Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! Happy April to all of you. I hope you had a great month of March. Spring is finally here and we can get rid of this cold weather for the most part. Oddly enough, I'm sure many of us are still getting some cold days. The world is a weird place but we can jump straight into this newsletter.

I would like to apologize for the delay on this newsletter being released. The move into April was almost surprising but not at the same time. While many of us knew we were moving into the new month, we have had so many new things in the works that it just completely flew under the radar. That being said, one of those things is our Merch and I'd like to give you a quick update on that. We are officially out of our pre-order phase and now waiting for the manufacturer to send us those hot items and then we'll be sending them to you. Depending on the length of time it takes to create, ship, and receive the items, your merchandise will be shipped to you as soon as we have the items in hand. The wait is almost over but I appreciate your patience with us.

This upcoming Summer is going to be huge for Requiem with the planned events in store. I spoke some about these events that we have planned in the previous newsletter but I am thoroughly excited for this summer to happen. With the plans for our Minecraft Event to be a bit of a social experience over a week where everyone is thrown into a map with 1 life and 1 goal. Without spoiling anything on what that goal is, the prizes will be amazing. Then following our Sea of Thieves tournament style event as well, it's going to be absolutely amazing. I really hope to see you all there with us during these fun days.

Okay, let's jump into our expenses for the month of March. Please note that all of these expenses do not include any extra revenue Requiem did not spend. A majority of the money spent for February has gone towards Staff Benefits (%31) which includes staff payments, team giveaways, officer of the month, sot officer plunder passes, etc. Our monthly normal savings (%20) go towards our charity events and taxes at the end of the year. An additional expense that we always have is our Server Hosting/Design Work (%10) which goes towards our VPS, Dedicated Machine Hosting, Graphic Design, Video Editing, etc. Our last monthly expense is our Events/Giveaways (39%) which goes to exactly what you'd think.

With all of the amazing changes to how we handle different things within our Staff team, there is just so much more going to come to Requiem. I cannot wait to share this amazing world with all of you. Our community is by far the greatest place I've ever been in and I couldn't imagine us anywhere else. With our growth into other games like Guild Wars 2, the possibilities are endless with the directions we can go. Thank you all for being fabulous people and continue being yourself.
