Patreon Update - December 18th 2023

I hope you all had a fantastic week last week! It was a bit of a crazy one for me... it's mad to think this time last week I was on my way home from London after winning Best Short Documentary at the London International Short Film Festival. It's taken all week to truly sink and and it feels pretty poignant that in that time I have finished my reactions to Fellow Travelers.
As a creator there is no better feeling than finishing a project and finishing the short film was a huge milestone in my life. However, quickly after the feeling start to sink in... what next?
That's why it feels poignant that I finished Fellow Travelers in the same week as its clearer than ever to me that I want to start working on a documentary about the Lavender Scare in 2024. It's going to be a huge undertaking but it feels more important than ever to tell this story. More on that in 2024!
Today is a GREAT day because Reiss landed back in London this morning and I will be travelling up on Friday to spent Christmas, New Year and the first week or so of January with him. Last Christmas was a particularly bad one for me (you all know how I feel about Christmas anyway) so it will be really nice to spend it together with out family.
I am pre-filming a lot of content over the next few days so there shouldn't be any interruption to the uploads (we will be moving forward with Druck season 1, Our Flag Means Death & Patreon Exclusives in the form of Fellow Travelers... and maybe som eextras) however, I am putting zero pressure on myself to work over the Christmas period (especially as after Reiss goes back to work mid-january I won't see him again until my birthday at the beginning of April!
That's all for today... it's time for me to get back to editing! Thank you all again for the continued love and support. I appreciate you all to no end.

As others have said, we will be ok if you take a break to enjoy the holiday with those you love and are important to you.
