Reacting to All Of Us Strangers - FILM OF THE MONTH

Gooooood morning beautiful Patreon family,

and a HUGE welcome to FILM OF THE MONTH - a Patreon Exclusive video!

I knew absolutely nothing about this movie going in to it apart from the fact it was highly requested and... well you can see my thoughts at the end of the video!

PLEASE NOTE: If you haven't already seen this movie then please note it is quite dark and IMO not an easy film to watch!

See you in the comments!

Love, always ♥️

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this beautiful film, despite it being such a hard watch. It's really a piece of art and I'm so glad it was made. I've seen it a few times now but it doesn't get any easier.

I will get round to watching this as I do want to see it, just incredibly busy just now and can’t seem to find any time 🙄

Ok, just finished watching. It was beautiful and terribly sad. I might have to watch again at some point to look at the smaller details. The use of windows and reflections especially, I might see if I can find it with a director’s commentary or something similar. Now I need to put on something happy to balance this. Thank you for taking us along on this journey once again!

I am going have wait until tomorrow to watch, I am getting dozy and I think I will miss things…I am enjoying it so far almost to the 30 min mark…I love the colors, they seem more saturated (that might be what you were talking about Jackie) they are not necessarily bright colors but they seem to stand out, almost feeling more alive if that makes sense…

Hi Jackie, I cried a lot with you, again... The scene with the dad really got me again. The film is really wonderfull and sad, so heartbreaking !!! I hope you have a wonderfull weekend back home... Lovely greetings

Jackie, I’ve seen this movie a few times now. Yes, I still cry but I now find comfort in this with seeing that Adam finally was able to know what Love feels like even if is quite bittersweet. Thank You for watching this with us Jackie. Sending much Love Your Way!

i watched this film in the cinema with my best friend on the day it came out and i remember when it got to the scene of adam following harry through the station and he kept disappearing i leaned over to my friend and was like “omg is he dead?” and then went no no he cant be - fast forward to end of the film and i was crying my eyes out when the discovery was made, such a heartbreakingly beautiful movie ❤️❤️

Good Morning, it’s 5:15AM and I may as well start the day with a few tears. This is such a hauntingly beautiful story. I’ve seen it a few times now. I have a feeling I’ll be crying more than other times because I’m pretty sure that I’m going to want to give you a Big Hug, Jackie. Okay, I have my tissues. Let’s go!

I loved this movie so much and was waiting to watch your reaction. Its 2 a.m where I live but I will not be able to wait anymore. Who needs to sleep anyway?

Can't wait to watch this for a fifth time lol. I feel like a junkie who can't get enough. It's just so excruciatingly beautiful. It makes me want to go back to teaching just so I can create a film study around it. I have my own theories about the particulars of the story, as does half the internet, but I think in the end it isn't the particulars that matter. It's the messages of how isolating grief can be, and how loneliness is like a cancer that grows, and we have to care for each other powerfully and be brave enough to be vulnerable so that we can also feel cared for. Okay I'm getting carried away. I love this film so much and I'm so glad you watched it. 💗
