Low-Rez Final Playmat Art!
Added 2022-03-22 13:25:24 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Attached is the final art for the playmat Kickstarter coming later this year! This will be available to everyone as a wallpaper down the line, and Patreon supporters as an additional designed wallpaper and postcard!
We are aware that people are surprised by Rei's "size" on this cover, but there are three things to keep in mind:
- First: perspective. If you look at Grant's nearly-7-foot-tall frame, then Aria's 5'11", then Rei standing at the front, you will realize he's much shorter than you might think at a glance. Any shorter would be inaccurate.
- Second: time. This is a slice of the group taken from the beginning of book 2, when Rei has had almost 9 months of growth and muscle development due to Shido's genetic correction. He's broader than you might think.
- Third: Shido's added weight. CADs are not always skin-tight apparatuses, much less in the lower ranks. Shido adds a good amount of bulk to Rei's form when it is called!
