Can we do a breakdown of drew Allar?

Andrew Pavnica

How do QB's understand run fits? Or does it matter to them at all?

Curt

When you watch Malik Willis play, is this a case of a bad offensive fit scheme/philosophy wise, or just a bad player?

Zach Lyons

What are some practical ways to learn the history of the game? Anything that’s helped you besides the obvious being a part of it.

Khalil

What is the difference between a RSO and first level RPO? Since both involve screen passes, I can't figure out the difference.....and yes, I took the course!

Michael J Ciavola

Do teams work on mechanics with QBs during the season, or do they generally save it for the offseason? You've pointed out Fields' mechanical issues with screens numerous times this year going back to the beginning of the season, but nothing really has changed in that department. Is that something that only gets adjusted during the offseason?

David Postelnick

What do you think modern defenses will do this year in the playoffs, in terms of pre-snap coverage shells and 4-6-man pressures/stunts on these elite QB’s?

Chris Hassard

My question is about Mahomes' cadence. It's "Yellow, Yellow" or "Gold, Gold" before he goes into the snap count. I've heard him use White and Black as well. Any idea what that's about? I've always assumed protections

Frank Latorre

How much influence, if any, do QBs or other star players have over who their teams draft?

James

What is the role of an Offensive Coordinator on a staff where the Head Coach is the Play Caller?

Antoine McNair

In your opinion, what’s Justin Herbert’s ceiling? What’s your opinion on him now vs. pre-draft?

armondfarmer62@gmail.com

What does a perfectly schematically designed offense look like in your eyes? From core run concepts/drop back/PA/ wrinkles? For example would it be an offense that is able to successfully do all that from the same personnel / set of formations? What’s the closest to perfection offense you’ve seen in this category? Sorry if this makes no sense HA

Shane Paul

What are some of your favorite under center 21p passing concepts that can also be run in 11p Gun @ the HS level. I know spacing is not a favorite . Snag? Stick ? Drive ? Etc

Zach

Hey JT, what area do you want to see Trey Lance improve in most to set him up in the best position for next year?

Erik Borders

If you had to rank the next 2 QB draft classes, how would you rank them?

Joel Verzosa

JT, Two options on this one: 1) When do would you pull the plug on a rookie QB? For example Mac Jones hasn't produced this year but did at times last year. However, this year the Patriots offensive coordinator, scheme, and play-calling is suspect. Statistically Mac is a bottom 3 QB in the league this year. Should they be looking to move on? Do you have a set of metrics or some sort of litmus test or rule of knowing when a guy is THE guy or when to cut bait? 2) Where do you stand on the drafting a QB before the infrastructure is ready for him? Do you believe in taking the QB first or building an infrastructure before you take him? Obviously you want to do both but if you can't do you have a preference? Thank you, John

John Limberakis

JT, Love the content and resources. I would enjoy hearing your thoughts on Dak and Dallas. Full disclosure, I'm first to admit that it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing to watch. I am however interested in your thoughts on playing calling, decision making and technique. Love the QB School, keep grinding!

tdot

I've heard that when the OC works with the starting QB the QB has input on certain plays and can say "yeah let's run this and no let's not do that". When your breaking down film and saying things such as "That's one way of doing that I personally would prefer not to do that" is that an example where you would tell an OC you would prefer not to run that play?

Joe M

This is just an idea. Any chance you could bring on a guest contributor to break down film with you? It would be cool to get a different perspective such as an offensive coordinator or a wr.

Joe M

When throwing to a receiver against zone are you tracking the receiver and seeing the window with your peripheral vision or looking for the window and tracking the receiver with your peripheral vision?

M

Got any good books or reading material that can help us average fans get into the mind of a OC or DC when they calling plays? What's the difference between bad OC and or DC vs players not being good enough Been wanting to start coaching football where and how do I start

Justice whitehead

Hi JT, I actually work as a basketball scout but I love learning from experts in other sports in my free time (hence my QBSPC membership). I‘m a firm believer that there is a lot to learn from every sport. I can‘t help but notice that some route spacing concepts and man-concepts like rub/pick routes, or passing of stunts (i.e. switching) in pass-pro, are very similar to basketball. Have you ever drawn inspiration for football scheme from other sports like basketball? If not, do you think it’s feasible? Love your content! Thanks, David

David Gibson

I'd love to hear your thoughts about formations into the boundary. You seem to be a fan of them, but were critical of Clemson's overuse of them in your DJU video vs Notre Dame. What is the benefit of FIB and how can you implement them effectively?

Curt

I second this

Curt

Hi JT, did you hate the meetings, talking to media, and travel while you were playing in the league?

Uhrye Owens

How do you identify passing strength and/or run strength ESPECIALLY in base formations and/or personnel groupings. ex: 2x2 10 or 11p

Chase Spellman

Can you explain the will levis hype? I’ve watched tv copy of him and your breakdowns and I just don’t see it. Keep hearing about tools but no one brings up his short arm release (other than you). There’s an obvious reason he’s shooting up boards (rhymes with shite and starts with w) but am I missing some obvious building blocks with him? I view him in the same bucket as Richardson, probably more polished now but not nearly the physical monster that AR is. Thanks as always for the great content

Shaan Donohue

Favorite way to teach your receivers to run over routes

Abraham

well, this isn't a question as much as a request. I used to work in the field of military strategy - and there was always the challenge in mission or operational planning of "we know, that they know, that we know.......lol" So what's the best plan? Once the operation started, then things were confirmed or played out as expected, or contingency plans (adaptions to the plan that were hopefully anticipated) started to kick in. This has to be even more exaggerated in football. I'd love for you to do a mock offensive game plan on an opponent. Let's say the 49ers play the Raiders in 2 weeks, if you scout the Raiders, how would you open your offense (the first 15 script) against them specifically, why? What would those plays tell you? What would you planned adjustment be to attack them after the scripted plays? Then after the game, give your opinion of what you think their game plan was given what they did. This would be invaluable to understand the game at the next level above individual plays.

Jeff Shaffer

What's Justin Fields' ceiling? Watching TL's + Herbert's highlights I couldn't help but think that with protection, playmakers and a little technical refinement he's got everything those dudes have + his legs are something they'll never be able to replicate.

Kyle Caffero

What does a “physical” team in the NFL actually mean? Is it a broadcast cliche that means “has a fullback”, or is there a meaningful difference on the field for players?

Andrew Patton

How do you advise non-WRs to learn route names and remember their associated details? As someone who never played, I find it very difficult to remember the various route intricacies.

Andrew E

As someone who is working towards a bachelor's degree and trying to be a high school football coach, what advice would you give me, if any? What were some of the adversities you went through in your first year coaching high school ball? Also, how did you go about building your staff? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Griffen Harbolt

What are you teaching your qb to look at pre snap, and did you give them freedom to check out of plays?

Robert Givens

Bad ball in the NFL. Where or how can the root causes be found?

Brian Dieffenderfer

When you're about to start watching a team you're unfamiliar with, whether it be offense or defense, what are the first things you look for? I know you mentioned before that the first thing you look for is "dudes." But how do you figure out what they're trying to accomplish schematically, what they major in, etc.

Paul

What do you think are the most contributing factors the decline of Quinn Ewers play later in the CFB season? (Do you think the injury played more of a role than let on? Him just being a rookie and/or rusty? DC's able to better game plan for him with more film? Etc, etc, etc.) What do you think the future holds for him and Texas with Sark? Are you high, low, indifferent on Ewers/Texas. Thanks!

Cody Alder

When you put together a high school passing game install plan where do you start? What are your favorite quick game concepts for high school, favorite drop back concepts, favorite screen and boots? Thanks so much!

Adam Hazel

A video of qbs footwork and hand work for the running game. As boring as it sounds would like to see what you learned in the nfl with the run game
