2023-10-14 16:20:51 +0000 UTCMy guess, and it’s only a guess, is that Rodgers loves choice routes, so the static nature of the Offense Presnap becomes dynamic as routes unfold against coverage. But that’s not going to work for Zach obviously - he needs more presnap to get guys running (as opposed to consistently getting smoked after the catch)

2023-10-07 01:52:02 +0000 UTCI'm a novice on this stuff so definitely could be off but looks to me on the first play is designed for a deep back shoulder with anticipation to GWilson left sideline (like Josh Allen to Diggs) and load up on pass protection.

2023-10-05 21:26:06 +0000 UTCAs a Jets fan I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to see Hackett’s use of Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. Couldn’t have said it better calling his system dated. 17 is good enough for Zach to rely on time and time again. They’re making his life so much harder.

2023-10-05 00:33:02 +0000 UTCI just wonder if the amount of Greg Roman specials is to protect Zach from throwing INTs over the middle of the field. His INT in the opening game against Buffalo comes to mind as being right at a linebacker, and his most dangerous throw this game was over the middle on the play Garrett got stood up at the line. I also remember seeing that Rodgers rarely threw the ball over the middle the last couple of years too, so maybe that attitude came to NY with him.

Or is it that they just have bad offensive architecture as a philosophy? This doesn’t look like the offense Aaron ran in GB with LaFleur/Hack. No clue if this is just a response to “less is more” with Zach. For sure that 3rd quarter was the best drive of his career. No doubt.
