might be too late but since AOC starting this week, would love to see a breakdown of the game he did start vs Chargers

It worked for me when I clicked "Watch on YouTube"

Chase Daniel had a similar reaction to that split. Something like, “Where is the tailback? Over there?”

Michael Brown

Turns out concussion affects the terrible performance in the last quarter performance. Hope Brock can get well soon

Rewatching this after finding out about the concussion hurts my heart. On his final throw before the concussion, JT is raving about how intentional Purdy is with everything (direct quote: "love love love love love"). He takes a hit to the head on the sneak, and throws his first interception on the very next play. Everything becomes sloppy. Bad footwork, bad vision, bad reads, two interceptions. Night and day. Head injuries freak me out.

Shout out to this guy

Dan, it’s a two sided argument. Putting passes into tight windows in structure in the right placement in stride is not “not doing much” The dink and dunk argument has been dispelled. The passing out of structure and off platform has been dispelled. He has helped them get quick scores. He can throw outside the numbers. And now that it is possible he played “concussed” might explain the interceptions. I honestly believe that his naysayers just don’t want to see what is right in front of them. On tape.

Michael Brown

works for me too, thanks!

It doesn't play from Patreon, but try the direct link, it works for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYzpTRT4NlI

If he was on a team with no talent he’d be mediocre. Hard not to be good when you’re surrounded by 3-4 guys who are the top of their position in the nfl. But he does do what he’s asked to do perfectly. He just doesn’t have to do “much”

Dan Larson

still doesn't work

I was able to watch 3/4 of it, but now it’s not working.

44 on the Vikings is actually their 3rd safety that they played at linebacker much of the game but moved him around. Maybe they played him over an actual linebacker because they wanted more coverage skills out of that position when facing a team with CMC and Kittle? Idk

Jacob

A lot to like, but gotta come through in the clutch when he’s down. Keep the Purdy videos coming! Thanks JT!

Tim Hulak

Doesn't matter, but since you asked, Kittle's celebration is a Zero and an M, for "Cero Miedo" or "zero fear". Got it from a pro wrestler

Another great assessment JT. I’m a Niners fan since 1969, and seen quite a few 49er QBs over the years. Purdy is an exceptionally skilled young QB that is also expected to help bring a talent-laden team a championship. If he was on a team like New England or Carolina and playing like he has, he would be applauded each week, win or loss. Instead he is highly scrutinized. Yet handling it like a pro. watched Joe Montana in his first couple years. He took a couple years to get really good.

On Brock’s nice run, you said Brock has some wiggle. I’m sure you have no idea, but this is a thread on how Brock and the Juicy Wiggle became inseparable in Iowa State lore. Just a great inadvertent reference for Cyclone fans. https://x.com/isucoachburner/status/1618701591338696704?s=46&t=vSJT6tsCkhclHvG4rQo4SA

Have to think Shanahan is setting something up to use late in the season with those weird splits with CMC... Right?

Thanks, JT. Was hoping for this. Love the videos. So great to see Lamar, Kirk, and Jalen operating at a high level in great offenses this week!
