Lamar Jackson AFC Championship Full-Game Analysis

Comments

i like how u are honest with your criticism of lamar with his lack of throwing with anticipation in certain spots. i think a bigger problem is him not taking the checkdowns but still

GHS

also just so many times they left dlinemen unblocked

GHS

this seemed like a collective offensive collapse, alot of the blame on lamar and alot on the coaches. I havent liked the takes that lamar just stunk it up cuz alot of the decision making was appaling but he has a lot to improve on. Todd Monken impressed me a lot with his immediate positive impact and i hope that him and lamar can work on these kinks and try to find a happy medium and not ask lamar to make the hardest throw possible as many times as possible and also for lamar to improve on getting through his progressions

GHS

watching in april, still sucks. didnt realize how much Hill and the Tackles not playing well swung the game

Kennedy Miller

Saving this one until the pain subsides, good off-season watch I'm sure

Tyson Moore

The McDonald's guy is Grimace and he's an MSG addict now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYSQd_JsltQ

Was that 2-Man on the interception? I can't tell. Like you said just nothing to hold the back side safety so you can't throw that. I definitely saw the chiefs running 2-Man a number of times in this game. It's shocking to me to see so much 2-Man run against the best rushing QB in the league and not see it really get punished at all. A lot of the defenders would start in off coverage which lets them have eyes on the QB to watch his drop but it's still wild to me that they didn't run Lamar more to punish that coverage

Great breakdown. Jackson did not do well, but I think that was as much the KC defense, and defensive game plan, as anything else.

Terry

Game plan was terrible
