For posteriry: and for James, Streaming services couldn't get (or didn't want to pay for) the rights to Cocoon because of music copyright/licensing. Not because the movie was "bad." In some cases a few streaming services oetitioned but gave up before trial. YouTube Premium didn't even try to get Cocoon at all. It's simply a matter of what ACDC told us "Money Talks."

2025-06-13 01:49:38 +0000 UTCI always felt that it would be more of a curse to leave your loved ones behind only for them to die while you live out eternity as an alien. The captain should have taken the ride because short of mind control there is no explaining your way out of that one. The music is the best part although a great film. Ron's brother Clint plays the shaggy haired nursing home orderly and his dad plays the police detective.
