A couple nice anticipation wrap in throws but those red zone sequences were dumpster fires. Does he add much as a QB development guru type? I'm not super familiar with the NE org chart. Interior line play is rough too; Buckner is eating these dudes alive.

It really is wild seeing this robust of a QB run game on Sundays. It is such a proof of concept for what this offense can be. Still, AR still has so much work to do with decision making and mechanics. So far, Steichen seems like he can cook but it's less clear that Ballard can pick out the right groceries. Not totally out on Ballard but not totally in either. Goncalves at RT and Bortolini at C might be the answers when Kelly and Smith run out of gas. We will see. 4:30 Power read. AR's decision making worries us too long term if he keeps missing reads like this. 5:30 nice contrast to the flood that didn't work last couple of breakdowns. Makes sense that it would work against this kind of coverage. 9:14 love the quaddy looks. We like looking for formations/motions/etc that are value adds to an offense. 20:00 We like Colts breakdowns obviously but we're here for whatever tape you find fun or interesting. 25:00 interesting historiography of how the screen to 11 has been taught. Makes sense that attacking the open space is the play rather than running into the teeth of the defense from a risk reward perspective. 27:00 the math on the QB run game makes a basic ass wide zone a winner. Love the 360 spike into the light. Saturday was indeed 63. 36:40 through multiple breakdowns, you've made a persuasive case for allowing a young dynamic QB to use his legs if the read isn't clean. Seeing the ways teams have on-ramped young QBs (or failed to do so) has been a blast. It seems like a barometer for who knows what the fuck they're talking about. 39:40 did AR crow hop that throw to Pierce? Lol. Ok then. He and Pierce have a good connection. If Pierce can add some branches to his route tree... It is dumb and dumber. 40:00 allergic to all pets? Lmao. 43:00 racer out. Now that we've understood for a few months how routes and footwork are linked, a lot of stuff has clicked into place. Foundational concept and outstanding teaching point. Really good perspective to see where AR's game is. 48:00 honestly kind of shocking to see the double team to spinoff where'd he go technique at this level of ball. Goncalves is a rookie but has played a lot of ball. Just go hit someone. 55:00 bad rep from Pierce. Can't drift like that. That int was mostly on him. 1:03:00 that footwork was horrific. Just glad that these sort of skymail throws have gone from once a drive to once a game. 1:08:00 Reggie Wayne likes Pierce but man, his route tree needs a few more branches. That skinny post could have hit. 1:20:00 Taylor is a pleasure to watch. Definitely in the McCaffrey tier of patience and vision. 1:21:00 if 11 can live in this Hines Ward special/Anquan Boldin possession receiver world, he'll be our guy too. 2pt conversion power read.
