The Lost Years // Pico-8 Mix
Added 2021-03-27 04:05:26 +0000 UTCHello you fine folks, hereโs a very small musical treat for you. Iโve added to the free supporter-only music folder the Pico-8 mix of the Retro Recipes theme tune โThe Lost Yearsโ. Ladyfractic crafted this for her Arkanoid game a couple of years ago, and I forgot how much I liked it. Itโs short, but has a certain strange melancholy charm to it. Hmm, I sense a new ringtone in my futureโฆ
Iโve also upgraded all the songs to uncompressed wave format for a little quality improvement. Please enjoy!

I do like those! But we all know Puppyfractic is the most talented of all of us.

First we had your tunes, then you showed us how Puppyfractic can play the whistle, and now you tell us that Ladyfractic can also create tunes! I really enjoyed that, and it sounds very similar to the output from the Teenage Engineering Arcade Pocket Operator. If youโre ever stuck for a birthday present for Ladyfractic, let her loose on one of those. https://youtu.be/NlO8SG0cxtE
