바나클중에서 길이자 짧은 개체도 많다. 이 바나클들은 크기가 매우 작아서 인간 소녀를 온전하게 삼키기 매우 힘들다. 때문에 마지막에는 소녀의 몸을 웅크리게 만든 뒤 체내에 보관하는데, 소화 기간도 다른 포식자들에 비해 매우 길다. 사실 먹이를 체내에 붙잡아 둔 뒤 소녀의 몸(먹이)를 숙주로 만들기 때문. 바나클의과 인간 소녀의 입에 연결된 촉수로 최음액과 바나클의 배설물 등을 인간 소녀의 입에 주입.(인간 소녀 입장에서는 괜찮은 영양분이다) 바나클은 소녀의 몸에서 분비 또는 추출되는 체액(땀과 침, 소변 등)을 섭취하며 살아간다.
