The difference between the two is that slime can instantly dissolve and consume even a living girl's body, while the slime molds use the girl's body as a breeding ground, absorbing her bodily fluids and breeding. - The caves appear to only capture human girls, ignoring other animals or corpses. - All the girls captured by the slime molds are alive and even receive nutrients from the slime molds. - Researchers are using the slime molds to develop a cure. 포식자들이 접근하지 않는 동굴이 있다. 위급할때 여군 소녀들은 그 동굴로 자주 도망쳤었고, 세이브 포인트로 지정되기까지 했다. 그러던 어느날 한 소녀가 그 동굴에서 실종되고, 그 후 해당 동굴로 도망쳐들어간 소녀들이 잇따라 실종되는 사건이 발생한다. 그리고 정식 수색대를 파견보내고 나온 결과. 점균류로 불리는 곰팡이가 그곳에 발견되었다. 단세포로 알려진 이 점균류는 일반적으로 죽은 시체를 뒤덮어 소화시키는 녀석들로 알려졌지만... 어느새 인간 소녀만을 집중적으로 납치하여 인간 소녀의 체액(질액, 모유, 침 등)을 체취하는것으로 나타났다. 특히 인간 소녀의 몸을 번식지 삼아 자궁에 번식하는 광경까지 목격되어 해당 동굴은 출입 금지구역으로 지정되었고, 해당 동굴에서 점균류에게 사육되며 번식장으로 사용되는 소녀들은 그대로 내버려 두도록 하였다. 최근 관찰결과에 따르면 치명적인 부상을 당한 소녀가 모르고 해당 동굴에 들어갔다가 점균류에게 포획되어 사육되었는데... 놀랍게도 소녀의 상처가 모두 회복된것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과 이 점균류가 소녀의 상처를 치료 한 후 그녀의 몸을 자신들의 번식장으로 사용하고있다는것이 밝혀졌다. - 죽은 소녀의 몸을 해당 동굴에 던졌을때 점균류는 그 자리에 소녀의 몸을 뒤덮어 순식간에 소화한것으로 나타났다. - 해당 점균류와 유전적으로 가까운 관계는 슬라임으로 나타났다. 그 둘의 차이는 슬라임은 살아있는 소녀의 몸조차 순식간에 용해시킨 뒤 흡수하지만 점균류는 소녀의 몸을 번식지 삼아 활동하고 소녀의 체액을 흡수하며 사육한다는점이다. - 해당 동굴은 다른 동물 혹은 시체는 쳐다 보지도 않고 인간 소녀만을 포획 하는것으로 나타났다. - 점균류에게 포획된 소녀들은 모두 살아있으며, 점균류에게 영양분을 공급받기까지 하는것으로 나타났다. -연구원들은 이 점균류를 이용해 치료약을 연구하고있다. ========== We'll remake that episode properly soon...
