2023-04-30 18:48:04 +0000 UTCThose "desktop-style" cases are awesome. I especially love the versions that have 3+ 5.25" bays in addition to a dedicated external 3.5" bay. I love a good tower vut I've always had a soft spot for desktop cases. The 486 system I kept from when I was a kid just had 3x5.25" bays, which meant I had to get creative when I wanted a CD-ROM, a proper 3.5" drive, a GoTek floppy and a compact flash adapter in the front. I ended up designing and printing a 5.25" tray that holds both the GoTek parts (screen, knob, buttons and USB port) and had an easy access slot for a CF card. This left two bays free for the other devices. (I open-sourced the tray and a couple of friends already printed their own as well.)
