Going to be a tough one time-wise. This is a short week for me due to going away for Memorial Day Weekend. Itโs also my on-call week (booo). Going to try real hard to have this one ready on-time!

2023-05-31 02:40:48 +0000 UTCThat case on the top of your is a one of my favorite form-factors. Plenty of space for drives and still configured as a desktop. The PCs I grew up around in high school were all in that style. One of my favorite summer projects was helping my Physics teacher convert a stack of 20 of those machines from 386DX-25s into Pentium 75s and 100s. The school had mostly written off the 386s and the Pentium boards were write-offs from a local college that teacher worked at. We upgraded each machine and turned the collection into a programming lab. I got to keep one of the cases, a few sticks of 30pin memory that had failed and a 387-33Mhz math coprocessor, which that teacher mounted to a shirt pin to wear as an unofficial "Computer Club" badge. Such fun times, that. I'm looking forward to seeing what secrets these machines hold. Here's hoping your on-call week is quiet. ๐
