Pre-release for the (first) Compaq video!
Added 2023-06-09 02:48:29 +0000 UTCWell this week was pretty eventful, lots of work-related on-call stuff spilled over to this week... However, I'm fortunate to have completed this week's video on-time! Covering some of the Compaq systems from the haul. Compaq is certainly a favorite of mine, having owned so many of them back in the day. I've re-acquired two Compaq LTE-series laptops which I show during the outro of this video. That Compaq LTE Elite 4/75CX is the same EXACT model of my very first laptop! My dad owned one of those LTE 5280 systems which I inherited also. They both need a LOT of love... Going to try and work on them here and there, and they'll hopefully make my first mid-week video release (though I can't say for sure when that will be).

2023-06-09 09:58:31 +0000 UTCThe zip drive click of death was very real in the 1997 time frame. I lost many zip disks to it. My own drive failed eventually and I gave up on the format.
