Pre-release for the HP Vectra video!
Added 2023-07-07 02:32:32 +0000 UTCDespite a multitude of distractions this week (holiday, birthdays), the Vectra video is done! Still not done with the thumbnail or timestamps though. These have become some of my favorite systems in recent years since acquiring my Pentium Pro-powered Vectra VA. '90s HP quality! Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptRezQn2o-g

I love AMD. Ever since buying the Athlon XP 1800+ in the early 2000s (the very first system I ever built from all brand-new parts), I’ve been hooked. So glad to see them shaking up the datacenter space with EPYC. Sadly, it’s unlikely that I’ll get to interact with that type of hardware again though, since my entire life is now cloud-based.

2023-07-07 22:09:05 +0000 UTCThe Pentium Pro is the only Intel product I have any affection for. I've never owned one though. I've mostly preferred, anything but Intel, all my life, but I've overseen the purchase of so, so many of their CPUs since they've been the only reasonable choice many times. I was so glad when the Opteron came onto the scene in the early aughts and blew the Xeons of the era away on price per performance and efficiency. The relatively new EPYC CPUs are great too. AMD is winning price per performance again by a good margin which is nice to see.

2023-07-07 11:15:05 +0000 UTCThere is a project right now that is reviving old windows updates for windows 9X systems. They are all looking for certain updates check it for the systems. Windows 95, windows 98, Windows NT 4.0. So before you went to hard drives of any other systems. Make sure to check for certain lost update that they’re searching for. In the C:/program files. And look for a Windows update folder. I will link their discord, if need be.
