An update on Me

However I was put on a new brain med around that time to help and while it really calmed me down it also killed my ability to draw, or build models, or paint, or get horny, or...
Depression is hard, I was never in danger of self harm, but I wasn't living, only existing. Anyway I'm off that med and on a new one. Its early but I actually drew something today, and might draw more. So I'm hopeful. I figured I owed all of you an explanation to what's been happening I'm my life.

Been through that wringer. Took me a couple years of trial and error to end up on a med that helped me *do* stuff. Decade later, I'm on a combination, because I take a very low dose of amitriptaline to dial down the migraines. I've heard some good things about "genesight", genetic testing to try and make the random-trial search for the right antidepressant more of an educated guess. It got approved for use like, half a year after I'd already gone through most of the formulary with my insurance. NFI if that'd even be of use, depends on how many meds you've been through, I'd guess. Good luck, and don't forget to give yourself some grace for having mortal biology.
