Anthology Thoughts
Added 2019-08-15 15:01:02 +0000 UTCCurrently, most of the stories have done their copy edits (other than mine and Rob's) and are going through proofreading.
I've got my own story that needs fixing for first draft.
I have an idea for a 2nd super short story for the anthology too (about 3-6k I hope).
Then, everything that has been accepted is done. I haven't seen any new stories thus far, though I know of at least 1 other (potentially 2) being written. I'm debating between putting together the existing stories, finishing up all the edits and releasing it or waiting for the next stories.
Word count wise, we're around... 66k words or so? So not huge.
Structure wise, I have an idea to write story snippets that tie the stories together, though I'll need to look at all the stories I have and put them together properly into one file before I can be sure that'd work.
If I do get this released, I figure it'd be like... Nov or Dec to get done. Which is kind of decent timing since I have nothing releasing then (book 8 won't be done till at least December with edits/etc.). If I can shoot for Nov, that might work well, but I don't want to push it either and release a bad product. Having more writers is better for anthologies, but there's no guarantee I'll like the stories being written.
Anyway, figured I'd let people know where we stand.
