First Steps into the Night is a very different short story than normal. For one, it's my first VR short. I wrote this over 2+ years ago, meaning to put together a series of shorts set in this universe but kept stalling on the 2nd short.
Secondly, and rather importantly, this is not fade to black. This is a vampire short story, so... sexiness implied.
