Short Story - Delay and SA 10 writing
Added 2020-11-28 04:16:30 +0000 UTCHi guys;
I'm going to have admit that I might not get the short story to you before the end of the month. I just didn't get enough of it written beforehand, it's sitting at around 6k or so and there's like 4 days left. With editing/etc, it's just not going to happen unless I dedicated the rest of my writing time to it.
And that can't happen because I have to get Broken Council to my editors by Dec 2 if I want it back for a Feb 1 release date. Which would be fine except...
I'm rewriting the last 2/3 chapters of the book. Some of it has already been rewritten, but I've got another chapter or two to add & edit. Not sure how much, it might just 2 scenes. It might be a full chapter that has to get edited. I know what is happening, I just don't know how long it is going...
And then I have to edit the final chapter and the epilogue (neither of which is changing in large parts, but some minor stuff has to be fixed). There's a bunch of changes to the ending that is going to happen that makes it better I think but...
It's throwing my entire schedule off.
The good news is that once the entire book is done and released to you all, I'll have the deleted chapters for you all to read in December. So you can then compare my 'fixed' chapters and the original.
Along with a written explanation of what is going on.
So yeah, no short this month but you will get it next month. And then December you get the rest of the chapters for SA 10 and the fixed up chapter and the short from November.
And I'll be on 'holiday' catching up on some ideas I want to explore and probably AoB 7 and just chilling. And then January I start A Thousand Li 5. That's scheduled to take about 3 months so we'll release on June 1 probably. And then basically 3 month gaps between releases after that theoretically.
