Updating Membership tiers

You might have noticed there are some new support tiers along with a renaming of the current ones.

With the start of a new year, I did a reevaluation on the membership tiers. It's been quite a few years since starting Patreon and I haven't updated since then.

Majority of the tiers are staying the same - no changes to rewards or pricing. They are just getting updated with new names since the previous names were all System Apocalypse related and since that is no longer an ongoing series (besides the many spin-offs that are still active), I decided to move forward with A Thousand Li related names.

In addition to the name change, I did decide to change pricing for a few tiers. This means I will be archiving a few tiers and introducing some new ones. How Patreon works is that a creator cannot change the price of any active membership tiers, so therefore I need to create new tiers if I'm to update pricing to better reflect the current economy. Only the Heroic and Legendary tiers are affected since the price changes are due to increased printing and shipping costs.

What does archiving the old tiers mean for those who are members? Patrons can still stay members of archived tiers, but no new members will be allowed to subscribe. Current supporters can of course switch to a different active tier. I'll still be honoring the current rewards for members of an archived tier to the end of March. However, in April, only members of the new tiers will receive physical rewards.

Here's the breakdown of the renaming & changes: 

• Basic class = Outer Sect Member
• Business Posts Only = staying the same
• Advanced class = Body Cleansing Cultivator
• Advanced Prestige class = Energy Storage Cultivator
• Master class (Both audible & non-audible codes) = Core Formation Cultivator (Both audible & non-audible codes)
• Heroic class tier will be archived - removing the print copy reward, all other benefits will stay the same.
• NEW Peak Cultivator - this will replace the physical rewards for Heroic class
• Legendary class tier will be archived - removing the print copy reward, all other benefits will stay the same.
• NEW Nascent Soul Cultivator - this will replace the physical rewards for Legendary class 
• NEW Immortal - brand new tier!
