Hey guys! Here's a track I finished shortly after my Sample Heaven album release!

The story with this one is that I planned to go in a very different direction after Sample Heaven. At the time I was listening to a lot of Crystal Castles and I was really in love with their dark, synthesizer-heavy sound. I was also considering doing an EP that was a little different from the usual four on the floor house stuff I did for most of the tracks on Sample Heaven.

I really tried to experiment with some weird vocal chops and sampling unusual things too. Most of the tracks from that EP I was planning, including this one, are actually based on Kanye West samples! This one uses a heavily chopped guitar loop from a scrapped Yandhi track. Samples of one of my favorite artists, DJ Shadow, can be heard at the beginning and end of the track too! At the time I was going through a lot of his old interviews.

At this point, as you guys may know, I'm experimenting more with making music using live instruments (as a result of me recently upgrading to a desktop computer!) but I am keeping this idea for a darker EP on the backburner!
