For this week's track, I took a bit of a different approach, as I mentioned in my MP3 post. This was actually partly inspired by a patron's feedback in a previous post! Back when I posted my last "chill" track, Alone I think, someone suggested I do something with a beat that sounded a little less upbeat. Here's my attempt at that! I tried to make it sound nice and crunchy, something I don't usually do as much these days.
I should also mention, I play a lot of bass on this song. There's still plenty of samples, as I'm used to and comfortable with messing around with. On top of that, I played some harmonics on my bass, and reversed that. You can hear my reversed bass playing throughout most of the song, and at the end I play a short line. Lots of experimenting going on here.
