Here's a new track from my upcoming project! I've been getting a few fun, 80s sounding Future Funk songs together for a new project of some kind (Most likely an EP)! I've been finding these kind of songs are a lot of fun to produce, and for me they're a nice change of pace from the french electro sound I had going on in Now That I Have you. With the tracks off that record, I put a lot of thought into my chops and how I would mess with the sample. While that sound is cool and all, I do want to give it a bit of a break and go for something more oldschool, inspired by 90s french house / chicago house and modern future funk!
I also have another project in the works, one with music that's mostly sample free! My other project will feature vocalists, collaborators, and a more nu-disco sound! I've been getting a lot of practice in recording my bass and guitar, and I definitely want to put that to use in my future projects. Stay tuned for more info on that!
