For today's weekly track, I'm happy to share a collaboration that's in progress between me and Ev.exi. Keep in mind that this is an early version of the song, since I like keeping you guys ahead of the curve!
I've already mentioned here (probably more than a few times) just how much Ev. has inspired my sound, so I won't go into that here! I will mention that it's a huge honor to work with one of my biggest inspirations, and I've kind of been dreaming of this moment since 2018 at least, when I first heard Remember. I know that sounds kind of cheesy, but I legitimately feel really lucky to have come this far with my music, and I have to thank you guys for helping me get there!
I'll also mention that this version of the track is a bit of a short edit, since we're still working on the rest of the track. There's a possibility that the finished product could sound quite a bit different from what you're hearing here, though we won't know until I get the project files back from Ev! We've been sending the project back and forth for a little bit, adding our own chops and ideas. The name is also a temporary one too! We'll be deciding on the final title later on.
Finally, I'll let you guys in on the fact that this will be a track on my next album, which I'll be taking my time to complete. I'm thinking of making this record a self titled one, since I'm really putting in a lot of work into this. It'll be a long, fun ride and I hope you guys will stick with me while I prepare this thing! Really proud of the work I got done so far, as well as the amazing talent I've had the pleasure of working with!
