It's Friday again, so here's the lossless version of the weekly track + some extra fun facts!
I'll start with mentioning that while this is currently the final mix of the song, I actually do want to expand on it a bit for my album. Right now the song has a lot going on, with a crazy amount of distinct sections and chops. I think of it as a "radio edit" in its current form.
Here's how I've structured the track:
Section 1 (intro):
0:00 - 0:42
This part includes the first chops that I sent over to Ev. in order to kick off the collab. The chops are 100% mine, and the drums were taken care of by Ev!
Section 2
0:42-1:45
This entire section was done by Ev.exi, purely on his own! (That's why it sounds so good!)
Section 3
1:45 - End
This new section was done mostly by me, using Ev's chops! I also added the vapor sample, + the guitar and extra synths!
In this new version of the track, Ev.exi also edited some of the bass tracks to make them groovier, and added some small adjustments to the transitions from section to section. I think his changes were for the best! For the album version of this song, I want to expand mostly on section 1 and 3, as I feel like the track has the potential to go into more exciting places! I would love to add a saxophone solo to the very end, for example. Or vocals?
